- The student council is making preparations for the dance party.

- Shirley is taking Kallen's measurements and touches her in some awkward place that causes Kallen to freak out.

- Everyone draws lots as to who will be partners. The results are: Lelouch and Kallen, Suzaku and Nunnally, and Rivalz and Shirley.

- Suzaku asks if it's alright for him to be Nunnally's escort --> jealous Lelouch

- Lelouch says something to rile up Kallen, as usual.

- Arthur steps on the hem of Kallen's dress --> Kallen's dress falls off

- Lelouch is blushing!? <-- at what? 2ch people are wondering...

Артур жжот... создатели сволочи. Напоминать про рухнувший пейринг... хотя, у них ещё есть шанс оправдаться.

Вот и я попала под действие гиасса, вместо заслуженного отдыха на выходных беспрерывно смотрю серию за серией. Когда начала просмотр, показалось, что первая часть была лучше (ту я смотрела дня 3, правда в таком порядке 1-й день – 1 серия, 2-й день – 7 серий, 3-й день – все остальные), так вот, потом я поняла, что вторая часть значительно круче и что остановиться сама я не могу, а остановить некому.

 

Восторг полнейший, аниме – однозначно шедевр хоть и масс маркета, который укладывает на лопатки кучу до него отсмотренного в похожих жанрах. И до фонаря то, что ни под одно из моих определений шедевра оно не подходит, превзошёл CG многих. Чем? Во многом благодаря своему гедонистическому воздействию на мои центры удовольствия ^_^ Может быть ещё и потому, что ещё ни одно аниме длиной в 25 серий не могло удержать меня у экрана с перерывами только на еду и короткий сон. Пафосно чхая на все биоритмы организма и отошедшие на потом планы, именно Code Geass R2, весело взмахнув лиловыми крылышками, накоротко замкнул мой мозг.

 

Разберём по плюсам:

1. Бешенная динамика На AniDB в его определениях прописано awesome storyline, этого мало. Нужно ещё добавить прилагательных - incredible, unimaginable, inconceivable, extraordinary, astonishing, surprising, striking, amazing и это тоже не исчерпывающий список. Йой, тут даже Бонда обошли – образец для меня был такой. От других, даже очень интересных аниме отличается тем, что смотришь и хочется ещё и ещё, действительно как наркотик, во многом благодаря этому "awesome storyline", ужо столько всего происходит, еле успеваешь фиксировать и что хорошо эти различные линии происходящего не обрывают, а перенаправляют в другие русла и дают новые направления развития. Нет чувства рваности и незавершённости, как часто бывает, если столько всего разного понапихают в одно аниме.

 

2. Развитие сюжета Здесь ассоциации следующие, как будто несёшься по горному серпантину на большой скорости, ещё чуть-чуть и на фиг слетишь с дороги. Для других 5% переломов сюжета хватило бы на полноценную картину с интересным развитием событий, а здесь оп-ля и что-то новенькое да и происхдит. Причём, такое, что все старые расклады к чертям собачим сносит, и аниме снова уходит в очередной головокружительный поворот, которого ты не ждал, а если и где-то и догадывался, то совсем не думал, что такие последствия от этого возникнут и получится ВОТ ТАКОЕ. С другой стороны, оно напоминает хаотичное броуновское движение, но пока мне весело – хоть потоп (с). Отмечу, что как с начала 1-й серии у меня отвисла челюсть, в таком положении она находилась до самого конца.

 

3. Герои Тут не персонажи, а именно Герои. Любой из них мог бы повести за собой миллионы или на худой конец возглавить своё собственное аниме, которое шедевром может и не признали бы, но обязательно сказали, что, да, ГГ тут просто [зацензурено, но смысловое содержание следующее – невероятный, невообразимый, etc.] - все очень колоритные, располагающие и яркие. Для описания Лелуша не нахожу подходящих слов, чтоб своё мнение о нём выразить во всей полноте. Изменялось оно по мере просмотра кардинально, то прибить хочется, то пожалеть, то чтоб выиграл, то чтоб наконец поймали, а иногда проскальзывали мысли – мне б его на вечер – да пообщаться)))

Сразу выделим фаворитов. Сам Лелуш - красавец, мои симпатии к нему непостижимы, как и сам сериал. Обычно, я выступаю по более успешным и крутым персам. Гениальный стратег и тактик - у нас целых два наличествует в тетрадке. Хотя много раз (особенно в 1-ом сезоне) хотелось крикнуть: «Парень, иди учись у Лайта!». Чувак в маске со скрытыми намерениями есть в Гандамах, а с трагичным прошлым, которое определяет нынешние действия героя, и подавно - в аниме куда не плюнь попадёшь в ущербного или убогого с такими же проблемами, а зачастую и пострашнее. И всё же, как-то, получилось, что до Лелуша им как до неба. По отдельным характеристикам - можно найти лучше, но как сборный, очень неоднозначный и великий образ Лелуш ви Британия рулит :) Ох, и харизматичным он получился, соперники просто меркнут.

Сузаку – у него получилось остаться настоящим рыцарем, невзирая на постоянные метания между правителями.

Конечно же, профессор Ллойд . Учёные с лёгким маразмом уже не редкость, но во многом благодаря неуёмному оптимизму, непосредственности и ребячеству, он стремительно всех конкурентов обошёл.

Эсэс – до метаморфозы была просто неотразима, нравятся мне вот такие хладнокровные и бессмертные пофигистки.

Еще Ли Ксинг и Лакшата очень приглянулись.

Из раздражающих героев имеем 2 штуки – девочка-истеричка с нетрадиционной ориентацией и девочка-балласт. Первая ближе к финалу выправилась, а вот вторая так и осталась самой раздражающей героиней. В целом, за исключением этих двоих, все женские персонажи очень хороши.

 

4. Графика Балдёж. Симбиоз Санрайза и Клампа сработал по высшему классу, просто праздник для глаз. Дизайны персов, наверное, лучшие, что видела за прошедшие два года. Вся это красочность и яркость органично вписалась в общую картину Кода.

 

5. Музыкальное сопровождение Очень хорошо легло на повествование. Музыка не выдающаяся, но очень хорошо отражает настроение того или иного момента и в нужное время давит на мозги.

 

6. Устройство местного мира По моим наблюдениям, чем более детально стараются прорисовать мир и объяснить его зрителю(читателю,) а если ещё, упаси Господи, постараются придать непробиваемую логику событиям, тем менее интересной, в конечном итоге, получится история, т.е. благими намерениями… Чем особо понравился CG, так это тем, что в системе мира задействованы более-менее реальная география, то бишь – место действия Земля, узнаваемые страны, много политики, и она не просто есть, а на её основе и при довольно активном использовании развиваются ключевые события. То, что она не отражает реальность не страшно, кому это надо. Хотите правдоподобия – марш смотреть новости и читать историю)))Здесь мы получили золотую середину, если специально баги не искать – глаза не режет. Тем более в круговороте происходящего думать о таких мелочах нет времени.

 

7. Пафос О, неотъемлемая часть Гиасса это пафос. Не будь его в таком количестве и качестве, мои мозги нашли бы другое занятие, чем 2 дня кряду глазеть в монитор. Сразу скажу, я обожаю аниме с нездоровым количеством пафоса. Большинство тайтлов в моём личном топе сильно зашкаливает по этому показателю, если нет героя могущего вменяемо толкнуть хотя бы небольшой спич про то, как он крут и красочно расписать планы, что до врагов, мало вероятно, что сабж мне понравится. Туточки мне вручили агромаднейшую порцию высококачественного пафоса, скорее даже утопили в нём, как в амброзии, а я плескалась и радовалась. Велеречивый Лелуш много времени уделяет описанию своей гениальности и расшифровке дальшейших планов))))

 

8. Финал заслуживает отдельного пункта. Огромный респект создателям, что смогли так лихо разрулить весь ворох проблем и обстоятельств, которыми меня CG развлекал - очень боялась, что сольют. Сузаку одним взмахом меча разрубил этот гордиев узел сюжетных линий и вопросов у меня не осталось.

 

9. Всё остальное тоже превосходно. Я люблю мехи, особенно с супер возможностями и чтоб обязательно с крутым апгрейдом – здесь присутствуют. Батальные сцены очень эпичны и грамотно срежисированы, прошибает не по-детски. Вкрапления романтики добавляют интересу и совсем ненавязчивы. Фансевис? Мне понравился. Авторы, не раз расстроив чувства зрителя, занимались подлыми убийствами полюбившихся персов, чем накаляли нехилую драматическую атмосферу, но делали это без отвратного соплежуйства. Тем паче, их очень много потом повоскресало, что лично меня очень обрадовало.

 

10. И самое главное - ни одного занудного момента, Code Geass устанавливает рекорд.

 

Итог: CODE GEASS: LELOUCH OF THE REBELLION R2 вместе с первым сезоном, большими фиолетовыми латинскими буквами вписал себя в мой топ лучшего аниме в категории самых захватывающих и драйвовых.

 

P.S. Мне уже кажется, что мои глаза отсвечивают лиловым светом.

Code Geass R2 Sound Episode #5 Summary // first part

[This one takes place while CC is still a moeblob, but Kallen is also there so don't be too confused if it doesn't exactly follow the anime timeline. Remember, these are crack dramas]

 

CC is apologizing for being a bother to her master again, while Lelouch sounds fed up and orders her not to hide like that. CC begs him not to hurt her {ah teh subtext that is not buttsex for once}

 

He's interrupted by Charles' call on his private phone, who greets Lelouch as "my sweet son" {o_O}

Both sound very serious, but Charuru manages to throw in a line about Lelouch making him grandfather {with CC??}

Charuru claims to have some interesting information for Leluuuuuuushu: he knows a way to turn CC back to her old self!

{the exaggeration in their voices when they stretch and emphasize the names of the other is to be understood as auto-derision I think}

 

Scene switch:

Zero announces out of the blue they will now be hunting the mushroom!

The Black Knights are wondering what's wrong with Zero, if he ate sth bad or hit his head etc.

Rolo {yandere mode} geasses everyone and beats them up while they're frozen for saying bad things about his NIII-SAAAN!

 

Zero explains he needs their help to reset the current "meido-zoku, moe-moe-shoujo" CC to her old self (the black knights are super confused and don't get a thing). The emperor told him the only way for CC to become normal again is to use a specific mushroom, the "mushroom of C", from the World of C. However the emperor had warned him that attempting to find said mushroom is a very dangerous enterprise.

But Zero already has a plan: he gathered the potential mushrooms that all look different (green ones, purple ones, striped ones ... ), and now the Knights' mission is to cook them and present the dishes to CC!! Diethard is worried about some of them being poisonous but Zero replies he's mistaken and the emperor promised there was no poison.

 

Kallen thinks its an interesting idea, and she and Diethard think of it like a TV program {cooking show?} in which the candidates present their dishes to CC. Diethard as the TV professional wants to imagine a shorter, more catchy title for the show but Rolo turns up to geasses and smacks him again.

 

As the "show" begins, Kallen asks CC to introduce herself (she does so presenting herself as the maid and "moe-moe-shoujo" and overall makes a very submissive and weak impression). Kallen, amused by CC's change, abuses of the situation and intimidates CC who for once is not superior to her anymore but whines and is scarred of her {bad Kallen BAD D8 }

 

Toudou, heavily praised by Chiba, is the first to have a dish for her, something they used to eat before. CC however thinks it looks rather grotesque, but encouraged by her master she digs in.

This has the magical effect of turning her into tsundere!CC (when Zero asks her how she feels, she gets all excited and replies this doesn't mean she has any feelings for him)

 

The second dish is a gratin made by Chiba (who mutters dere-dere things about Toudou nobody understands), which she forcefully shoves into CC's mouth, but it's not the mushroom of C either, instead it just resets her to the previous state, aka moeblob (and additionally burned her mouth so she'll talk a bit funny for the rest of the track)

 

Diethard tries next, with a britannian dish inspired from a gourmet show. CC is reluctant at first and asks Zero if she must eat that too. Zero takes pity on her and doesn't want to force her but Diethard gets offended so Zero asks CC to eat it after all {and because he must maintain peace in his harem, it's best to avoid internal fights *nod nod*}

After tasting it CC thinks it delicious and happily munches, but oh shock it does not have the effect everyone hoped for but transforms into sth with drills as her hands {??? Rost in transration here. I'm hesitating whether this is a very subtle reference to TGTL or sth else my fail-Japanese skills couldn't identify}

Zero yells at Diethard to explain himself, but he's barely showing any concern, so CC gets bananas and crushes him.

 

Lastly we have Kallen and her mushroom risotto and asks not to mind the purpleness of it. CC says she can't eat like this (this is related to what she has become due to Diethard's mushroom). Kallen te-hee's and simply asks her to open her mouth and feeds her. CC's eyes start to itch and when Zero wants to have a look HE EFFING GETS STRUCK BY THE MIGHTY CC BEAMU!! {not even making that up. this drama is so sick, poor poor CC!}

Kallen wants to use her as a weapon but Zero is in despair, so they decide to feed all the remaining mushrooms to CC, hoping the right one will be in the loot. One turns CC into a giant, "bigger than the Zangetsu" {Alice in Wonderland anyone?}, Diethard loses it for no specific reason, Kallen is impressed and Zero seems deeply troubled by his failure to save CC, while the latter blames herself for everything, says her goodbyes and attempts to run away.

 

Scene change, Suzaku reports to the emperor: a Chinese spy has observed a huge mysterious figure resembling a young girl emerging from the BK's HQ at Hourai Island. Suzaku is convinced it's a mistake but Charuru goes all "ZERO, YOU REALLY DID IT!!" and bursts into endless laughter, leaving a "ha?" completely confused Suzaku behind. The drama ends on CC fleeing from Zero and the others, still a giant.

Nunna-chan of the Oden Shop

 

00:01-00:32

Begins with Suzaku's narration.

During the heisei period, in the lower parts of Tokyo, a small shop can be found. The name of the shop is Oden Shop Nunna-chan.

 

Kallen comes into the shop straight from work and orders the usual - oden with thick fried tofu and eggs. Tamaki, who's there before Kallen, talks to her.

 

00:33-1:57

Tamaki: Hey Kallen, been promoted now at your work in that bunny pub?

Kallen: That's how it is. Today, there's also only greasy old men there. But I definitely won't stop until I take back the number one title from C.C.

Tamaki: If uma-chan's (referring to Kallen) working so hard, I'll come to visit!

Kallen: Shut up! Don't come.

Tamaki: Didn't I tell you that you should be nicer to people?

Suzaku: Ta-ma-ki, it'll be hard for her to concentrate on her job if acquaintances come around.

Tamaki: Suzaku, didn't you yourself say that you wanted to see Kallen in her bunny outfit?

 

Tamaki procceeds to drop some dirty secrets about Suzaku, which Suzaku tries to deny with vigor. Kallen comments that it creeps her out more when Suzaku is acting really straight-laced. Suzaku tries to change to topic by praising Nunnally and her oden, saying that it's the best. Nunnally thanks him by saying that she'll offer prayers for him. "What!? There's that kind of rule!?" Tamaki cries out.

 

Tamaki tries to copy Suzaku by praising Nunna-chan's oden as being "the best in the world...ah, the space...no, the whole galaxy!"

 

1:58-2:40

Nunnally kindly chides Tamaki that he is overdoing it. Suzaku comments on Tamaki being only lip service as always. Tamaki insists that he is really being sincere, that Nunnally is truly a good girl to be working that hard to run a shop. Kallen agrees with Tamaki, while Suzaku asks Nunnally if she can handle everything alright.

 

Nunnally: Yes, I'm used to it already.

Tamaki: Oh geez, how could Lelouch go on a journey and leave such a cute sister as Nunnally?

 

Nunnally drops her cooking utensil.

 

Suzaku: Tamaki! It's not good to talk about this!

Kallen: You...idiot!! Nunnally, you can charge this guy twice the amount he pays for alcohol!

Nunally: Okay. Then, I won't hesitate to.

Tamaki: Geh, for real!?

 

2:41-3:08

Everyone wonders what Lelouch is doing in some place. His whereabouts are unknown. There's no letter at all. However, Kallen thinks that Lelouch is fine.

 

Lelouch suddenly speaks, saying that they only worried for nothing.

 

3:09-4:03

Suzaku: This voice!

Lelouch: *insert sinister laugh* How are you doing, ladies and gentlemen? I, Lelouch Lamperouge, who you have been waiting impatiently for, has just returned!

 

Suzaku, Kallen, and Tamaki shout, "Lelouch!!!!" all at the same time and talk angrily at him, calling him names such as, "gambler", "worthless human", "womanizer", and "stupid brother".

 

4:04-4:44

Kallen urges Nunnally to say something to Lelouch. "Oniisama, welcome back!" Nunnally tells Lelouch. Lelouch replies in a gentle tone, "I'm back."

 

Lelouch tells Nunnally that he only came back to do something.

 

Lelouch: Ah, it seems that nobody noticed the hidden switch.

(sound of knocking)

Kallen: There was a hidden door in such a place!?

Tamaki: What is it? GEH! It's an iron safe!?

 

4:45-5:02

Lelouch tells everyone that he has about a hundred million inside the iron safe, to which everyone is greatly surprised. Lelouch opens the safe only to find that the money is gone.

 

5:03-5:30

Nunnally: Oh, I forgot about it, but if you're talking about the money hidden inside the safe, I've already donated the money to a charitable institution. Nunnally she has been voicing this since before, things about a kind world, how the heart/spirit of the geass is same as the heart of a mother.

 

The password is, "Everyone, let's go to the World of C!"

 

5:31-5:59

Nunnally: "It's not good to keep money that you haven't earned honestly," father used to say--

Lelouch: That man already died!

Suzaku: He liked to preach educational things. Such an interesting guy died.

Tamaki: Eh, what Charles-ossan said sounds good. You must restrain yourself when it comes to money.

Nunnally: Tamaki-san, it's time you pay the bill, please.

Tamaki: Yes ma'am.

Lelouch: Then, I have no more business here! I have to reestablish my funds--

Kallen: Stop right there! Where do you plan to go, Lelouch?

 

6:00-6:18

Suzaku doesn't plan to let Lelouch off easy, that he has a lot to tell him, that he will beat into shape his bad attitude of laughing through his nose at hard work and living irresponsibly like a yakuza.

 

6:19-6:35

Lelouch: Heh, you think that you will move me. I'll listen to your talk at the least.

Tamaki: What are you doing leaving Nunnally alone!?

Lelouch: Didn't I tell you already? I will take control of the world!

Kallen: That is to say, you merely mean gambling, don't you?

 

6:36-7:11

Lelouch explains that he will control the world by buying out several enterprises to establish a large corporation and controlling the stock exchange. He assures that his plan is perfect.

 

7:12

Suzaku asks if it is for Nunnally's sake. Lelouch says so and that he wants to create a safe and happy place for Nunnally, since the town they live in is prone to disasters.

 

Kallen asks Lelouch if he thinks that is what Nunnally wishes. Lelouch in turn asks if they (Suzaku, Kallen, and Tamakai) want Nunnally to forever stay in that shop. Do they have the power to guarantee her future? Kallen thinks Lelouch is wrong. Kallen tries to make Lelouch understand by telling him a story about her Naoto-niichan.

 

8:01

Kallen: My brother, Naoto, you remember him?

Lelouch: Yeah, he lives in the same town.

Kallen: As brother's sister, I can understand Kallen's feelings well. Naoto was always only thinking of his dreams. He liked mountain climbing. Every time he talked about mountains, his eyes would sparkle. This year, he said that he would conquer Mount Everest. And when this is over, I will teach you mountain climbing, he told me. Then he left the house. I felt a bad premonition. My mind could not be at ease...

Tamaki: Naotoooo...

Kallen: To become like this...I...

Lelouch: Wait! I've thought about it and your brother's not even dead!

Kallen: Oh, I've been exposed.

Lelouch: Now that I remember, Naoto's an idiot. He was cheated by a guy named Lloyd who wears glasses. Naoto was tricked into becoming a guinea pig for his flying experiments. He was hospitalized by attempting to jump off from a cliff shouting, "Naoto Kashoushiki! Yey!".

 

(Naoto is alive in this universe!)

 

Apparently Kallen's attempt to appeal to Lelouch's sympathy didn't work. Lelouch asks whether Kallen wants to persuade him or make a fool out of him. Which is which?

 

Now, it's Suzaku's turn to earn Lelouch's sympathy by talking about his cousin named Kaguya. During summer break, she would come to his house.There were complications but it was fun. Then, time came when they weren't able to meet anymore. That time was when she would come to his house, idling about, reading manga, spending most of the time posting on message boards on the internet every single day, leaving her room in a messy state, neglecting her homework, and in the end, completely abandoning the etiquette she learned at boarding school.

 

Lelouch asks what Suzaku is trying to do. Suzaku realizes that he's strayed from his original intentions. His point, he says, is that he thinks of his cousin, who's full of naivete, as a sister he loves so much. Suzaku recalls one time, during New Year's Day, "The battledore's shuttlecock got stuck in the tree branches. Please get it for me," Kaguya told him. Suzaku climbed the tree and Kaguya said, "You've been tricked, ahahaha!" The next spring, water suddenly came spouting from beneath, which Kaguya left him to deal with. Suzaku starts shouting in a frenzy, blurting out things like, "Stop it, Kaguya! Help me! What if the water floods the next town? Somebody help me! Somebody!" as if he's having a nightmare. Kallen snaps him out of it.

 

Lelouch tells Suzaku that he understands the latter because women also tried to kill him.

 

(Suzaku's moe Kaguya imitation is hilarious!)

 

Tamaki challenges Lelouch to a game of chinchiron, a dice game. If Tamaki wins, Lelouch stays. But Lelouch wins, as expected.

 

Lelouch is about to leave but Nunnally stops him by challenging him to a contest of washing dishes.

 

Lelouch chants "must rub" repeatedly, while Nunnally says "become clean". Tamaki remarks that the two are similar to dish washing machines.

 

Kallen: Lelouch is quite good with household chores.

Suzaku: Different from you, Kallen.

Kallen: Your personality's become worse these days, Suzaku.

Suzaku: If I had a good personality, I wouldn't be Lelouch's friend.

 

Nunnally breaks down, pleaing her brother not to leave. But the tears are only actually fake.

Nunnally: My chance! "Become clean" x infinity. I'm done washing dishes!

 

(I love this devious Nunnally, lol)

 

Lelouch loses.

 

Tamaki: Wonderful! Wonderful!

 

Dark Nunnally has plans to expand the shop. There's even mention of a convenience store.

 

Lelouch screams "Nunnallyyyy!!!"
